This rare and beautiful blue silk armour under jacket remains in remarkable condition with European influenced ruff style collar in multi coloured silk.

The back is decorated with the ‘maru ni nanatsu biki’ (seven horizontal lines in a circle) heraldry and very detailed invocations written in red ink asking for protection in battle.
