#HLM78 RATTAN JINGASA

19th Century

This rattan jingasa has been lacquered black on the exterior and decorated with heraldry of the Tani clan of Tanba in three places of ‘ageha-cho’ (butterflies in flight) in gilded relief. With copper ‘tehen kanagu’ at the apex. The interior is plain black.
