#ACC238 DOE SKIN ‘JINBAORI’ (ARMOUR SURCOAT)

Late 18th / Early 19th Century

This ‘jinbaori’ is made of dyed brown doe skin. On the reverse it carries the oak leaf heraldry of the Abe clan of Mikawa kuni, Hanbara han. It is trimmed with leather with light gold leaf decoration. The interior is lined with pale brown silk.
