#41122 RUSSET LACQUERED ‘SHINGEN ‘ STYLE JINGASA

This russet lacquered jingasa is made with a ‘moriage’ technique to look like a thirty-plate iron bowl. It has a coiled dragon motif at the top and a wild boar design at the front with standing copper pins to replicate iron rivets. A copper ‘tsukejirushi no kan’ hangs from the rear. The interior of this piece is lacquered red.
